A multi-day elopement with a Mt. Fuji backdrop
When it comes to eloping in Japan with a Mt. Fuji view, there's always the risk she’ll stay hidden behind the clouds. But for Cheri and Retcher’s ceremony day, we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect Fuji backdrop.
Cheri had her heart set on the date January 1st, 2025. Most businesses and services are closed for new years but we were up for the challenge and committed to bringing their vision to life. The elopement wouldn’t have been complete without a little gashapon adventure. Retcher’s love for Gacha machines meant we had to find a way, and even with the holiday closures, the little side quest was a success.
A special shoutout to Cheri, who illustrated and designed their vow books and a custom ring box, complete with an image of the two of them standing hand in hand with Mt. Fuji in the background.
