Do you make travel or other films that aren’t wedding?
Absolutely, I create a variety of films that are not limited to just a wedding day. Do you have travel film or a video idea? Please don't hesitate to reach out!
Can you get drone footage of our Tokyo wedding?
Unfortunately, Tokyo and the surrounding municipal areas, including all parks, are completely off limits when it comes to flying drones. With that said, if you're wedding is outside of Tokyo, then drone footage is a possibility.
How would you describe your style?
Through my films I aim to tell a story that truly reflects each of the couples that I work with. I capture the raw emotions and intimate moments of your special day to help evoke the genuine emotions that you experienced. Visually I like to film using natural and moody light whenever possible (ie. outdoors, next to windows etc).
What sets you apart from other wedding videographers in Japan?
I film only a select number of couples each year in order to provide those I work with exceptional care. It’s important to me that I take the time to get to know the couples I work with before filming. Taking the time to connect with those I work with allows me to be able to better create films that share raw and authentic stories. I also can speak English and Chinese fluently which makes connecting and communicating with international couples a more smooth experience.
Can you be our wedding videographer?
I'd be honored to be your wedding videographer. In Japan most wedding venues (Especially in Tokyo) follow strict rules and do not typically allow outside vendors (videographers, photographers etc). With that said, as long as you are firm and negotiate early on with venues, they generally will bend their rules and make exceptions. Weddings that are held in restaurants and other more custom locations typically have less stringent rules but I recommend you still negotiate and confirm earlier rather than later.
