An oceanside micro wedding near Tokyo, Japan
When it comes to planning, we rarely take on weddings, but after a quick call with MB and Benjamin, it was obvious right away that we were a great fit for each other.
Their vision was clear: An oceanview wedding centered around connection, relaxation, good food, and the ability for everyone in attendance to freely move around and socialize. The goal was to create a day where everyone could be fully present and enjoy great food and good company without the rush or rigidity of a traditional wedding timeline.
The venue we found was a dream come true. With ocean views, two beautifully designed beach home cabins, a pool, hot tubs, and the perfect blend of indoor and outdoor space.
One of the top priorities of the day was keeping guests well-fed without interrupting the flow of the day. To make that happen, everyone had the option of a wagyu and teriyaki chicken bento box as well as access to unlimited bowls of ramen, and delicious drinks throughout the afternoon and evening from two privately booked food trucks.
MB and Benjamin spent a lot of time exploring Tokyo's bakeries and shops to curate a selection of their favorite Japanese treats to share with their guests. Some of the deliciousness included melon pan, creamy custards, and a variety of the most delicious fruit covered mochi I’ve ever tasted.
It was an unforgettable day—relaxed, meaningful, and perfectly them.
